I have heard alot of women that are in early pregnancy (like 4 weeks or so) or in the 2 week wait say that they felt twinges in their uterus. If u experienced these twinges please explain exactly how these "twinges" feel? Because I have been having these weird sensations in my uterus. It feels alot like muscle spasms (they are not painful at all but they feel funny), it is very noticable. I can even feel the spasms or twinges or whatever they are with my hand (lol)!! Its weird b/c I only feel these in the morning right when I wake up. They only last for about 5 min. off and on. Has anyone experienced these spasms or twinges or whatevers in early pregnancy and what could it be?

You're right that it's too soon for baby movements. If you are in fact pregnant it could be muscles and tendons moving and stretching. I have a lot of weird sensations and sometimes some pain from that in early pregnancy.

Pregnancy hormone levels are strongest in the morning so that might be why you are feeling it most then.

Your ligaments and tissues start stretching pretty early in pregnancy to accomodate the quickly growing baby.

It's impossible for someone to say what those things feel like- you have to experience it yourself. But what you're describing sounds like what I felt like early in my pregnancies.
