Earnest T PHD provided these numbers so we can call these Corporations and demand that they no longer sponsor Al Sharpton's show.

McDonald's Corp # is 1-800-244-6227 , then push 1, then 2
Wal-Mart's Corp # is 1-800925-6278

He has a right to free speech and WE have the RIGHT to say we don't want to listen to his hate and do business with a place that sponsors it!

Thank you Really , Really , Lovely Person !!

You wouldn't believe the amount of email that I'm getting in support of calling them .

Although I don't agree with Imus. . .it was his situation that woke me up . Why did we let this go so far and so long .
To be fair, this is one thing us Conservatives have been lacking for too long . We forget that it is 'we' who spend our money with companies who support this nonsense !!

Thank you very much !!

Thank you very much

I do not care if they support Sharpton. I like McDonald's french fries so I will still eat them, the maybe 3 times a year I go there. I do not usually shop at Wal-Mart but I do not see support for Sharpton as a reason to avoid the store.

RLP, another great post!!

I must say, I am a Wal-Mart fan. LOL, I know I will be beat up for saying this, but as a capitalist, I have long admired the manner in which they have reduced prices through efficiency and effectiveness.

Now McDonald's is another issue, although I have admired their ability to duplicate their level of quality throughout the world, I cannot stand the smell if I walk into one of their restaurants.

I detest both Al Sharpton and Jesse Jackson for the harm they have done to the black community and their criminal extortion's of corporations.

So, with all of that said, I will call and email both McDonald's and Wal-Mart and express my displeasure at their support of both of the thugs. I do have one request though, in what manner does Wal-Mart and McDonald's support the jerks? You may email me at clwkcmo@yahoo.com.

Many thanks and keep up the good work!

I'm sure your little opinion will stop McDonald's from sponsoring Al Sharpton.

Let me clue you in.

McDonald's has been working for decades to improve its marketing to the black community. I know this because I've worked on that campaign. There is NO WAY it is going to drop Al Sharpton's show. Your calls will be dumped into an electronic voice mailbox that will never be checked.

Want to protest? Stop buying their products. Phone calls do nothing.

Wal Mart and McDonald's should support Al Sharpton who is fighting for the right cause.

If you don't agree then you must have lost all your moral values and respect for others!

I would say that if you want to boycott Walmart, and McDonald's, by all means you should do so. But do it for the right reasons. McDonald's gets rich by selling the most unhealthy excuse for "food" imaginable, and Walmart exploits its employees, and destroys local small businesses, among other things. In terms of Morality, neither of these organizations can hold a candle to Al Sharpton. *sm*

Great, I asked a question last night trying to find out who Al's "enablers" were.
Whether or not you go there isn't as important as calling and voicing your position to them.

Feel free to plagiarize my corresponce;
I am writing to inform you that so long as McDonalds continues to sponsor the Al Sharpton radio program, my family of 6, and I will no longer be supporting your restaurants.
We feel that Mr Sharpton uses his pulpit for unjust bullying under the guise of "fighting racism".
While we are not racist, we feel that by supporting McDonalds we are also supporting Mr. Sharpton.
We hope that in the future, your advertising policies change and we can, in good concience return to your restaurants

I didn't support them much before. Particularly McDonald's, I just don't like their food. Wal Mart is probably trying to get back in grace with the far left. They may have succeeded in alienating EVERYONE. Them's the breaks!

hell no.. just the same as the corporations that dropped all the great sports people and recently Bill Cosby.. Hell to the no..the companies and corporations that support people with racsium like Al Shaprton and Jessie Jackson should be shown who really supports their companies.. These companies only caused to issues to be set on fire and bercome bigger than what they are.. Shame on any company that wll back these two losers that should be serving time in prison for the problems they have caused the black communities.. Martin luther king was the greatest leader ever in history in solving the problems and race relations... and Al Sharpton and Jessie Jackson only profit from doing the crazy things they do to help keep race relations going backwards instead of forward...

Sorry...but I'm not a big supporter of collective actions and group protests. That's what happened to Imus in the first place.

If I decide to boycott a product I just stop using it. And if my individual actions are not enough to have an effect, so be it. But I'll leave the protest marches to the brotherhood of victims.
