I found a single wire, brown with a white strip, in the headlight bucket of my bike. It has a double female connector at its end. This wire is not connected to anything. Then, at the back of the bike, under the seat by the battery, is another single wire. This wire is also brown with a white stripe, also not connected to anything. I am guessing it's the same wire running from the front of the bike to the back. Does anyone know what this wire's purpose is?

Also, there is a single grey wire in the headlight bucket with a male connector end that is not connected to anything as well as an unconnected dark green wire at the back of the bike.

Anybody got any info on this for me? Thanks in advance!

The brown wire is probably an extra terminal for accessories. The wire harness might be from a different year TS250 (someone may have used it cause they couldn't purchase one for that bike).

According to that picture, your bike doesn't have a regulator.

Are your turn indicators still on the bike? If not then these wires may be for them.

i became going to assert the regulator, yet "gdwrnch40" beat me to it LOL --positioned a volt meter on the battery and rev the motorbike. Over 7.5 volts and the regulator would nicely be undesirable. --make effective the battery is making a sturdy connection to floor. --motorcycles with 6 volt batteries in many circumstances run on a balanced device.
