If an older person in your family dreams about fish does that mean that someone around them is pregnant? Has this happened to anyone? My husband's granmother dreamed about fish about a month ago and my youngest child told me that he had a dream that God told him that I am pregnant around the same time, what are the odds that I am pregnant? I am having a lot of symptoms of pregnancy also. I have four children already so I know how it feels to be pregnant.

I don't know about the fish thing, but I do think children are very intuitive. I have 5 kids, and when I was prego with my last baby, my oldest knew we were having a girl, and even described what she would look like. And now that she is here...she was totally right. Good luck....go get a test! :)

A lot of people don't hold any faith in wives tales, but they had to come from somewhere. The fish thing I have heard about. It happened to me, believe it or not. I dreamed that I was cleaning a fish tank and got bit by a mean catfish looking creature. I woke up screaming. (You would too. I am afraid of fish. Sounds crazy, but it's true.) A week later, I took the test and it was positive. My best friend also dreamed about fish. She called to tell me about the freaky dream the same day I found out I was pregnant. So, no one can really say for sure. I think even if there is nothing to it, it's still fun to believe in a little magic along the way. It keeps you going. And 4 children!!!! You have gotten this down to a fine art! Good luck!

Throughout my own pregnancy I dreamed of water, whales, fish for the whole 9 months. I believe in the myth.

Yes it is true. Every time my grandmother dreams about fish, someone is pregnant. This time it was me. And, the fish always have a characteristic of the person who is pregnant, so she knows who it is. Like for me, the fish was big and brown. (like me) lol.

The odds are related to whether you've had sex without birth control, not about what some other people dream. My bet is that your grandmother and your son either want you to be pregnant again or think it's likely. They may have heard you talking about it.

Dreams are just dreams. They don't tell the future and they don't tell fortunes. They're just collections of thoughts that occur randomly in sleep. Often they're related to something that has happened or has been on their minds, so if the family has been talking about you having a baby it wouldn't be too surprising that they would dream about it... but they could dream about it even if no one has talked about it.

If you're having symptoms of pregnancy they may be picking up on some of that, too, by watching you.

I have never heard of this old wives tale and I would not put much stock in dreams since they are merely a product of the unconscience mind.

The best thing for this is a cheap pregnancy test from your nearest drug store!

My toddlers told me God was giving me twins.......but I just had one little girl. LOL

I would trust your childs dream of God telling him you're preggers over the fish dream. Children a lot of times have an intuition like that. Good luck! Take a preg test and find out! :) You can find cheap ones at the dollar store usually if you are worried about cost

previous better halves' thoughts are in basic terms that, thoughts. Fiction. delusion. They mean no longer some thing. Your newborn is calling between his legs because he's conscious of he has some thing there. youthful little ones are curious, and that is that. Believing in those better halves' thoughts is like believing that Rapunzel and the Frog Prince were real, they're BS.
