you get increased bonuses when you make a contract & increased penalties when you go down.
In bridge nobody is vulnerable on 1st deal.. 2nd hand E-W are vulnerable. 3rd hand N-S is Vul and last hand everyone is vul (vulnerable) If playing Duplicate, the bidding boards will marked with a vul marking (Vul)
