I try to spend several hours a week going and voting on unresolved questions...
You get a point for every vote you make so I find others just voting on the first answer to get the point..
I don't...I read thru all of them and have found the best answer sometimes on the last page or even on the first page further down the list...but with the others just voting for the first one ...I feel like my vote is moot.

I start from the top and read every single one. I hope others do the same for me. I invest a lot of time here. (Too much)
Oh, and Hey, why can't people be generous and give 5 stars just for a Best Answer? It costs nothing and feels generous.

I always read every answer before deciding on best answers anyway, I think it's only fair considering that people have taken the trouble to answer my questions. Why should they be disadvantaged just because they are one of the last to do so.

im giving best answers just now,thats the thing the more Qs you ask the more you have to go back and choose,thats the hard bit,picking a best answer.

I always look at all answers before selecting a best answer. It's unfair to do otherwise.

I read every answer....sometimes it is hard to choose because there are many good answers...
