Because the Republican vets are still there.

Considering the last election the choices we had for the presidential office, Bush and Kerry, they probably are like everyone else. Are you kidding me that is it. This is the best this country can do for leadership? The last election would have been the perfect time for a woman presidential candidate due to the competition. Dunno what the Iraqi Vets are seeing other than maybe they have insight of the Iraqi war that we only get after the smell and smoke goes away.

Probably because the latest polls show that 67-69% of the Republicans surveyed are still supporting the war and President Bush's policy in Iraq. These vets have been there and have put their lives on the line. Obviously, after the experience, they identify more with the Democratic party's stand that the war was a mistake and that we need to do whatever it takes to extricate ourselves from this mess. I trust their opinion over ANY politician - democrat or republican.

Because the Republican vets are going back to Iraq. Look at Duncan Hunter's son, he is running for office and going back to Iraq.

Could you name some of these Democrat Iraqi war Vets?

Since you like to make bold statements without substantiation, I assume you are a socialist, telling another BIG LIE.

How unusual.

Because once they're not under orders to act as obedient photo-op props for the President, they act on their own personal experience of what a great idea this quagmire has been, and how competent this administration is in security matters.

First off, I would like to honor the service and sacrifice of our veterans no matter their politics. Their service gives us the right to speak on these forums today.

Second, Dem leaders like Rahm Emanuel have done their candidate recruiting in places like Walter Reed hospital. The difference here is that Iraqi war vets running on the Democratic ticket (i.e. Tammy Duckworth) are manipulated by the Democratic party into running for office.

Third, the only Iraqi Vets that you hear about in the news are Democrats opposing the war - duh.

Final, Democrats like to play the vicitim card and seek candidates that fit a specific demographic mold to play on the heart strings manipulating voters, rather than seeking the best qualified candidate. This is also why a vast majority of these candidates that fit this Democratic mold DIDN'T win their elections.

Because republicans have there head stuck in the sand or some other place, if you know what I mean.

Republicans love to hide behind this... Phony Peer Pressured Patriotism.

Which is noting but B.S.

They would have you believe all of the soldiers agreed with them. And we know that is not true.
