I have numerous friends of the opposite sex, we call each other a couple of times a week, and always do lunch, dinner, movies, .. get drinks, etc. I am very comfortable, plus it's good to check up on everyone also.

Yes. Until there is reason to believe that this person is more than a friend, you're just being insecure. If it continues to bother you, talk to them about limiting contact. Or, an even better solution: the next time they hang out, suggest a group outing so you can get to know their friend. And like the last answer...trust IS trust.

Yes. Definetly. Actually my boyfriend has several girl friends that he talks to on a regular basis & even hangs out with. In exchange I require the same though. I've been best friends with a guy for 6/7 yrs & we hang out all the time. And my boyfriend is ok with that also. Of course it helps that my boyfriend & I were best friends for two yrs before dating. lol.

I used to hate it, but i eventually got over it as i matured. You have to realize that the person you have chosen to be with has chosen you, not there friends who happen to be of the opposite sex. Best of luck.

No problem. Her best friend is a guy, my best friend is a woman. Our relationship is based around trust and we know nothing is going on. We love each other and know we're coming home to each other.

Yup. My husbands best friend is a girl.
I don't care, because I know and trust them both and we're all married.
He is a super friendly guy with lots of friends of both sexes.

No. He has me. He doesn't need another female friend. Maybe that's why we've been married 30 years. (He's never even WANTED a female friend.) P.S.Working and laughing with them at work I have no problem with that. Trust is so important.

at first i did not but then i started having a huge prob with my bf since he never introduced me to his girl friends -girls who are friends-and i did not know a lot about these friends of his. no i was not comfortable with this one "good friend" of his which i do not like or trust..otherwise i am ok with him hanging out with his girl friend while i hang out with my guy friends.

My husaband has friends that are girls , but if they hung out and got coffee and crap like that, I think that I would feel a little uncomfortable with that! :)
