I dont think wireless connection has another cost though... I believe you are only paying for the actual service or the paln you are subsribing... that depends on the speed rate.. wtih AT&T, I guess they have the express, pro and elite... with these you can actually connect via wireless even if you are on the express plan.. because that depends on what equipment or type of modem you are using.. if that is wireless capabel or what...

so, basically wireless connection doesn't have any additional costs for you.. it your modem that must be wireless capable that would costs more for you... but definitely not the service or the type of connection you would like to have....

hope i am clear on explaining this to you..

There is no 'wireless internet' charge for using it at home.

You simply need to make sure you have an internet connection (cable or DSL - obviously you will have to pay for that). Buy yourself a wireless router, and hook it all up, and you will have wireless everywhere in your house (if you have a large house, you may need to purchase a signal booster).

Now, if you want to have wireless that allows you to connect ANYWHERE, then you need to contact some wireless phone providers. They will give you a card to plug into your computer that is kind of like a cell phone, and will allow you to dial in from anyplace. They use minutes like cell phones, and there are a wide variety of packages to choose from.

Good luck!!

Good luck! Gulp! I checked with Verizon for "full time" coverage, and at the time I checked it was (gulp again!) $79 per month (gulp!)

I know it was $49 for my lil' ol' PDA phone...
