so say there is a career you really want to pursue, but you have personality flaws such as time-management issues, problems working under pressure, and a thin skin, which would prevent you from being very good at it. should you just find another career that is easier but less interesting, or should you try to overcome your flaws and keep working even though its really hard and you know you will never be that great at it?

Ok, you have more problems than you want to admit, not the least of which is an inferiority problem.

who's to say that if you work, you won't get to be quite good at the job? If it's a job you want, why don't you think you deserve it? If you deserve it, why aren't you willing to make the changes so that the job becomes great?

I'd say you need to speak to a caring professional. Either a job counselor or a therapist.

i'm kind of thinking about the same thing. i feel like i wont be good at it. i'm not a social, and i think i need to be really outgoing for the career i want to pursue. BUT i really want to try it out.... so yes i'm my situation i will try to overcome my flaws because that is my dream career and i don't want to let it go! :) so if you want to pursue a career i think you shouldn't give up!! good luck! :)

If you dont want to face time management issue or working under pressure, the best option is work as a freelancer or start something of your own.
