first they go against the wizards. with a 3-1 record against them this season and Arenas out, there is no doubt about the Raptors going to the second round.

There, they'll probably be meeting the Cavaliers, since the Heat are not hot hot since Wade's injury and since Shaq in on the bench. if so, they have a 1-3 record against the cavs this season. Could they make it past them?

If it's against the Heat, they're 1-2...

Canadians have a lot of faith in their team this season, but are the raptors strong enough to get past the wizards and then the cavs or heat?

Good question, but as much as I would like to, I don't think the Raptors will make it that far.

Washington should be easy. Expect the Raptors to wrap it up in 5 games.

Between Miami and Cleveland, I think Cleveland has a slight edge. But remember, it's between the Cavs and Bulls for the 2nd spot, so maybe the Raptors could be facing the Bulls! Then they would get a fair chance of going through to the finals.

My predictions:

If they go against the Cavs, Raptors will lose in 6 games
If they go against the Heat, Raptors will win in 7 games
If they go against the Bulls, Raptors have a fair chance.

I'm really happy for the Raptors, after not making the playoffs in 5 years and then everything that happened with Vince Carter they deserve to finally be having a great season. All that being said while they could make it to the finals they won't. They'll beat the Wizards but it ends there. Both Chicago and Cleveland have more playoff experience than Toronto and that would show in the 2nd round no matter which of the 2 they faced. And even if somehow they did get to the eastern conference finals no way would they beat Detroit. Next year however they should definitely have a chance. They have the same young players and I just know Colangelo will make some key additions. So while this year they won't make it, next year could be a whole different story

Their records showing yes and the way they playing. But together they are inexperience during the playoffs. In the playoffs the heat and the intensity of the game is on the line. The playoffs lead to the finals. They are young and inexperience in the playoffs. There best players are young and inexperience in the playoff actions and couple of them been too the playoffs been a while. They will go to the 2nd round and lose. Thats what i think. they have a better chance if wade still rusty with the heat and shaq somehow gets injuried throughout the whole time. wade will not be rusty and shaq qill be healthy and which means that they will go far and take away raptors chance going far. But the finals team for the east will be the bulls, heat, or the pistons. no other team. but i want the bulls to be the team

No...I think they will make it to the eastern conference finals but not to the finals. Ford and Bosh run a pretty good two man game but they dont score enough on transition and they don't have a deep bench at all. They will lose to the Pistons in the eastern conference finals.
