They all hate us and want us to leave. We reached all our goals....why are we still there? Do you honestly believe that we are preventing an attack on U.S. soil by being there? Get real already.

No the US is there to get as much oil from Iraq as they can and they will continue to stay there as long as they can to continue their one and only goal in being in Iraq. OIL. If the US pulls out now the terrorists will take control of the oil fields and Iraq and the US will lose out on trillions of dollars worth of oil that they are in dire need of and that is just simply not acceptable. OK sheep? By sheep I mean the people who have there heads buried in the sand and think George bush is the best thing since sliced bread.

The Jury is still out on whether Iraq has been turned by Bush policies (if you can call this bloody criminal adventurism so) into a terrorist breeding ground, but there is little doubt that Iraqi War has built up the presence, financing and recruitment of anti-American terrorists in the Middle East and in the whole world. Ditto turning Taliban into a terrorist anti-American organization (which it had never been as such before). Both were quite predictable. Plus, the mere prospect of the failure of the so called Afghan mission inspire a real horror in terms of 'breeding ground' in the near future, this scenario seeming ever more realistic by the day. The same goes for Iraq, which, though maybe not breeding ground now, could become the one very quickly if the whole 'paper democracy' just falls apart or weakens substantially.

Oh gosh, they hate us. (nail biting) What are we going to do, murdering terrorists hate us, oh my. Sorry, but the Radical Islamic Factions who were in Iraq when we got there are the ones turning it into a bigger Terrorist Factory that it already was. We reached all of our goals? Really? Iraqi army is set up in full force and trained and able to protect the nation. Iraqi police are fully staffed and trained and ready to protect and control the civilian population. The Iraqi government has figured out all of its issues and is fully ready to go it on their own. The Iraqi infastructure is back in place and thriving after the Saddam regime. Amazing how that happened over night that is so cool. I'd rather be real and keep the jackals busy over there than let them free up time and resources to plan an attack here.

President Bush is one of the wisest and most committed Presidents I have ever seen.

1) He saw what my family knew for years since the 1950's, having escaped Islam at that time.
2) He faced it, despite the act being very "unpopular", and thus set their efforts back decades, if not forever.
3) He set in motion a revolution that Islam will never be able to stop, and that will finally topple the dictators that use Islamic law to keep freedom away from their people.
4) He did all this despite people like you, that change their identity to vote for themselves multiple times, lie, call our representatives names, spread unfounded rumors, and otherwise try to undermine the country.

What's funny is that you still don't get it. Your behavior makes us stronger! Free speech doesn't discourage speech like yours, it encourages it! Feel free!

The more people hear, the better educated they are.

Check out the sites this poster posts! Read the whole site (scan it at least) and then read the other side.

You will understand people like this much better, and can pass that wisdom down to your children.

Educate yourselves, people.

You don't want to end up like this Ugly Betty.

First off, Bush did not cause this. Secondly, how do you know that all iraqis hate us and want to us to leave? Unless you have been there like i have, you dont. As far as goals, lol, in our dreams we have reached them. Until Iraq is stable enough to stand on its own with out outside help, we have not finished the job. Reguardless of the reasons for going in, we went in, upturned their political structure, and now we have to stabalize it before leaving. Otherwise, we pull out, and their government collapses, and it starts all over again, and all those soldiers who gave their lives did it for nothing.

And yes, by keeping the terrorist/insurgent attention on iraq and afghanistan, it does reduce the risk of them attacking on US soil.

i realize i am probably gonna get a "Bad answer" for this, but this is the truth of the matter, and most people just look at it from what the media tells them and not the actuall facts.

I am currently deployed, and believe me, i would love to not have to be here right now, and be at home with my wife and kid, but there is stuff left to be done here before we go, and therefore, as always, your US military is here doin the Job.

You are right on the target! Bush is trying to save his reputation, and I am sure he has four assistants talking into his ear all day telling him how wonderful a job he is doing.
I just hope that the Military will cool Bush down when it comes to Iran and Israel.
If Israel attacks Iran's nuclear facilities, who is going to believe we are not aware or even part of the attack? America will be married to Israeli if there is an attack on Iran because all of the Middle Eastern Arabs and Persians will hate the United States for working with Israel in the attack!
The Shia will hate us even more. Just think how many new terrorist would be born.

Islam is the real threat. To understand terrorism you need to understand why muslims want to attack America. And why the so called moderate muslims are quiet about it.

President Bush has a vision for peace. But when elements of destruction are looming the country, someone has to take responsibility, and the war has to begin somewhere. Or else, you may not have the right to speak like you can today!
