Yes, it is still a possibility that you could go on to carry the baby to term. One of the most common things that can happen is that a woman is pg with twins and very early on one of the babies dies or is absorbed by the mother's body--this can cause the hcg to drop a little then start rising again. Please, prepare for the worst, hope for the best, and have faith in that everything will work out the way it is meant to.

It doesn't really sound too good, but there is always hope. I had a lot of bleeding during my 2nd pregnancy and they did the hcg test; the levels rose considerably (and I had a healthy baby 7 months later). I think the Dr. said that the level rise exponentially with hcg. Maybe you can call your Dr. and ask this question?
Good luck to you; I know how hard that is, to think you are miscarrying. I wish you the best.

Doctors are human just like the rest of us however, they have had the opportunity to get better education were the majority of us do not get as much as they received. But yes they have been known to be wrong,it is a matter of you excepting what they have had to say. That is one of the side effects if you will not wanting to except even denial of the prognoses. Nobody wants this kind of news. Even with that said you can shop around until you find one who will go along with what you are saying, I don't know that i would put my life in there hands though. I put it in the area of those who are friquant flyers. They seek the drugs or the sympathy from others and will find it somehow some way.

I hope it turns out the way you want. Usually the doctor is right, but miracles do exist. Keep on doing all the tests. If for some reason you did, just try to think ahead. Everything happens for a reason. You can always look at having another one in the near future.**** luck.

The doctor gave you that reading because he didn't think that with all the complications you were having that you'd pull through. Doctors can be wrong sometimes, but they do give expert advice on health. So what I'm saying is, yes there is a chance that he was wrong. Don't give up, good luck, God bless. I'm praying for you.

If this is your first. I've read that a lot of women miscarry on their first try, especially if they're older (late 30's to 40's).
Honestly I don't know. You might just do some bed rest, try not to do anything too straining, such as house work, work, etc.
Ask your doctors what you need to do. If there are any meds you can take etc.

Anything is possible. Take it easy all weekend-- fluids, vitamins, and rest-- and cross your fingers for Monday.
Good luck!!

They could be wrong, but its rare that a doctor would deliver this kind of news unless they had good reason to believe it was true.
