I want your personal opinion and why. They say a person's history, religion, or experience makes a difference in this answer.

For those of you that are naive, you can't have a chicken if it wasn't born. Therefore, the chicken could not have come first. Then again, you can't have an egg with out a chicken! So the egg couldn't have come first either. For those of you that believe in evolution . . . if you think the egg came first. . . well that's not correct either because the egg would have had to come from a prehistoric chicken animal. Do you people even know how evolution works? A t-rex doesn't give birth to a horse and the entire species changes. That would be the only way the egg would have come first.

For those of you that believe all religions are the same . . . Eastern religions are completely different than western religions. I don't even have time to go into detail on all of the differences.

So to answer your question. . . the chicken came first. You have to read Genesis chapter 1. It doesn't say God created dinosaurs and then the evolved to chickens. It says God created all creatures. For all you skeptics. . . which came first? The embryo or Adam? In the same chapter you will find Adam came first, Eve came second then came Cain and Abel.

I believe in God. But I know evolution is true too. God created one heck of a Big Bang (because matter cannot be created from no matter) and then watched it all evolve. Dinosaurs, cavemen?? The bible says a million years is but a day to God.

That chicken. Well, I guess something close to a chicken laid an egg with a little different genetic code and it was born a little different from the earlier ones. That changed egg held a chicken. The egg came first.

The Bible says God made all creatures (no mention is made in the Bible of eggs) so the chicken would have had to come first so that there could be more chickens. I don't really see how a different religion could interpret it any other way. Most all Biblical texts teach pretty much the same thing.

technically i believe that the amniotic egg first developed with reptiles which were on the earth before birds which means that the egg came before the chicken.

Chicken, or any type of fowl. They just adapted to making eggs. They did give "Birth" but I guess after awhile, they made eggs. But chickens/all animals come from one source. This could have happend during the dinosour times. People think chickens and egg-laying animals came from them becuase the laid eggs, especially the flying ones.

The Chicken, it was smoking the cigarette in bed, the egg was crossing it's arms in the covers...

Now you know who came first...
