Yes mine works ok with 64 bit vista ultimate edition

Yes, assuming everything else is Vista compatible, your processor is working. As long as everything is Vista compatible, the only piece of hardware you need to worry about when it comes to running 64 bit is the processor, and that processor will run it.

why would you want vista?even worse,why would you want the 64bit version?haven't you heard vista is filled with bugs.

vista is rubbish and be careful some internet providers cannot provide service with it such as tiscalli

It depends on how much RAM you have installed and your video capability. The processor itself is okay.
