It's a tricky question. Historically, virginity was lost when the hymen was broken. However, the hymen is usually broken after 14 years of age due to puberty. So, you might not be a virgin after that according to the archaic defintion. However, the modern definition of a virgin is someone that has never participated in sexual intercourse. Seeing as how oral is considered a form of sex, by modern terms you would no longer be a virgin. However, I think the act of sex itself should be identified. A physical act that comes from the insertion of the male sex organ into the vagina is one type of sex. Some might claim that is what it really takes to be devirginized. However, the insertion of the penis into your mouth, or vagina for that matter, has a similarity with this category, but in a different way. I would say that someone who participates in oral sex would no longer be an oral sex virgin, while they would still be a genetalia virgin.

You know this whole thing has made me laugh. I appluad you all for bringing me amusement. I've laughed so hard reading all of this. I love the parts about the girls asking why you would even give head, that's great. All I can say is kiddos when you reach the LEGAL age to have sex, there is a legal age because techincally before hand your body really is not ready for it, trust me ... been there and done that. It's much better when you're older 20+. The teens are filled with wild romps of energy and the bucks of wild horses. Then, go grab some reading/instructional material. Sex is not everything, but trust me, it is a lot.
As for the loss of virginity, lol.
It depends what you mean by virginity.
Some define it as: being clean, pure, untouched or soiled by another. In this aspect, yes, you did lose your virginity. But if you've kissed a boy or fooled around before you lost it back then.
It's also defined as: Sexual Penetration. So you have 3 virgin areas for a female. Mouth, Anus, & Vagina. You've lost your virginity in one of those places. Possibly more if you or someone else has ever placed anything inside of your other areas.
The last main one is: The Hymen. Breakage of the hymen use to determine if a woman was infact a virgin or not. The problem with this one nowadays is a hymen is easily broken. Horse back riding, doctors examines, excerise, horse play in general, bike riding. So this one is dropped.

What makes me laugh the most is how the act of giving head was treated like a disease. Omg! She gave me the heads!

There are a lot of people who will say yes.

And there are a lot of people who will say no.

Here's what Wikipedia says, though:

"Virginity is a term used to describe the state of never having engaged in sexual intercourse."

And sexual intercourse is described as:

"Sexual intercourse is defined as referring to any form of insertive sexual behavior, including oral sex, as well as anal intercourse. The phrase "to have sex" can mean any or all of these behaviors."

So I suppose that YES, giving head means you have lost your virginity.

But it's up to you. If you associate virginity to only the act of a penis penetrating a vagina, then no, you have not lost your virginity.

If you're considering it, don't!! I know you're just a teenager and not married.

1) What kind of pleasure do you get out of it?
2) You can get herpes or a number of other diseases that way & guys who ask you to do that are usually very sexually active.
3) Try to keep your self-respect and dignity until you're old enough to make responsible choices. It's not like you won't regret them 20 years from now.
