I have no kids. I adore babies of all kinds up until about 5 y/o and then I only like them on a kid to kid basis. I do love some, especially my family and friends' kids.

I'm NOT talking about YOUR kids. I don't know them.

I noticed also that it seems to be more acceptable for men to not like kids or be kid-neutral. Is that fair?

I agree with tate, kids are just like dogs!

They sense when you are afraid of them
They're all cute when they're little
They can be very annoying
They do no wrong when they're your own
If not trained properly, they can be very bad!

I can think of a lot more but my lunch is now ready!

I tell my husband that he doesn't like kids. He likes some kids, the ones he has taken the time to get to know. Kids are, in a way, like puppies. They can get annoying, they are just so cute, we keep them around anyways. Don't be offended people, I am a mom too and honestly, I love kids in general. They are funny. I just see the point of the non-kid friendly.

Kids today don't listen, act up in public places, and guess what, Parents shouldn't spank them right? Just let them disrupt everything and everybody because they know you won't do anything! Oh my, they will get a time out! This is another reason people are having less kids. Bring back the strap, the switch, and the Paddle!!!!

I don't not like all kids, I just don't like the ones whose parents didn't raise them right and act like spoiled rotten little brats. I hate the parents even more because of this. If people would teach their kids a little something about manners and whatnot, this would be a better place for everyone.

As long as they don't expect me to keep my kids locked in the house everyday. My kids have the right to go to stores, dinner, libraries...anywhere I feel like taking them.
I hate people that look at me funny because I took my kid to a restaurant - until there is law banning children in restaurants, he belongs there just as much as you and i do!

No, unless their mean to them. I don't have kids of my own, but I adore kids of all ages, Baby's to teenagers. I have a good repore with them. Some people were not meant to have kids and unfortunately do.

I'll just be honest: newborns to two-year-olds are my favorite ages for kids. After that, it just depends on the kid.

Kids are so precious though, no matter how they behave. They have so much potential to do good things for the world when they're older.

No, I respect that some people just do not like children. But, I do get annoyed with rude people that pretend that children do not exist and choose to run them down in public places or make nasty comments about them at any given moment.

no, and some kids are flat out not likable. a little bit of discipline and some manners would go far with some. parents allow their children to act in totally horrible inappropriate ways all the time, care enough to discipline your brats it will serve them well in the long run!

I used to HATE kids, now I have an 8 month old but for some strange reason, I only love her and my nephews and that's it. I really still can't get into everyone else's kids. I'm weird, sue me, lol.
