misery loves company I suppose. I've noticed that too. Forget about them, and surround yourself with good people

If they could feel the pain they give, it would be different. As it is, they feel good from taking what you would have offered freely.
But, other than a dog, don't try to assign those feelings to other animals. Most would eat you, if you gave them the chance, or run away if you had the smell of a hunter about you.
A dog will protect your young just as if protecting its own young. It will also tolerate your and its young. No other animal will do that. Only the dog.

Honestly, we'll never know, even though it's the truth. People will envy other people no matter what because they mave have features the people want, and that's part of the reason.

They have no gratitude and joy.
They are miserable and you know what they say,
"Misery loves company."
So, I always think, at least I don't have to live with them, but
they've got to live with themselves.
Keep smiling! It makes people wonder what you're up to.
;-D
You get a star for today and go straight to the head of the class.
Peace.

It's because they are miserable them selves and hate to see any one else happy. I totally agree about the animals. People ask a lot on here who would you pick to be on a deserted Island, I'd pick my dog. He gives me unconditional love and makes me laugh my butt off.

Lack of legs????
Animals often have 4 legs and can easily stand to see you happy. In fact, many encourage you to be happy!

I know the feeling; I think it is jealousy, competitiveness. They might see you as a threat.
I had a problem with that recently. Sometimes if you actually compliment them it helps.
