I search the web which indicate that blood can result in a false positive on the pregnancy test. I took a pregnancy test at the end of my period (still small amt of blood). Anyone have any information on this subject. Could my pregnancy test be a false positive? I will take the test again when my period is completely over.

you can take a pregnancy test while on your period as long as it's not a heavy flow. The only way for a pregnancy test to be positive is if there is the pregnancy hormone in your system. The only way to have that hormone is to be pregnant, so it would be very unlikely to get a positive if not prego. The test could just be a dud though and perhaps that caused it. Take another and see what the result is. if its positive, then you are defiantly preggers!!

What did the pregnancy test say? Positive?

I think most people will laugh at this question, since normally, if you have your period, you are not pregnant.

But, if you got a positive pregnancy test, I would go to the doctor. The bleeding could have been a light period (common in early pregnancy) or you could have implantation bleeding, or you could be miscarrying.

As everyone told me, it's hard to get a false positive on a pregnancy test, so you're probably pregnant. Was your period any different that it usually is? It was probably implantation bleeding (embryo connecting to uterine wall.) Best wishes!

It is extremely rare to get a false positive. I'd test again but I think you are pregnant if the test showed a positive.

It appears like he's attempting to make your cycle usual and greater predictable. The drop in progesterone once you stopped taking the pill led to you having a era. this is what frequently happens in a menstrual cycle while progesterone and estrogen drop merely until eventually now the era starts. It does no longer propose you ovulated however, yet progesterone pills can help normalize and stability your hormones, so with a bit of luck you will ovulate ultimately. it would take some months. in case you do ovulate (around day 12-14), your physique will start up making progesterone to assist help a achievable being pregnant. in case you do get pregnant, then progesterone will proceed to be made, if no longer the levels will fall and you will desire a era. you need to ask your gynae in case you need to proceed taking the pills in case you think of you're pregnant, because of the fact your stages will fall in case you end taking them. possibly it rather is terrific to attempt adjust your cycle until eventually now attempting to get pregnant.
