When you will install Norton Internet Security during installation process you will get on screen message to disable windows firewall. It is not recommended to use both at one time.

If you have Norton then disable windows firewall. As Norton is a very sensitive software it may not work properly if you use windows firewall simultaneously.

No. Having both on Norton will keep saying please turn off Windows Firewall. Unless it is anti virus. Check the box and if it says Norton Firewall or Furewall then disable windows firewall.
