No. We have the right to bear arms. Period.
Ban stupid people instead ;-)
As the saying goes, guns don't kill people, people kill people. Banning guns will not have the impact people seem to think it will - there will still be killing and violence, it will just be quieter.

The Second Amendment PROTECTS the other Amendments, but please don't take my word for it.
do a Goggle search in RE: Nazi-Germany gun control
Australian gun control
Canadian gun control
Russian gun control
E.U. gun control
and so on, then look at the periods of government in those countries within a 10 year mark of the gun control policy's effect. After that please come back and tell use what you think then.

i have a very strong dislike of guns, but i think that a gun ban would be a total disaster. if we banned guns now, then the only civilians that would still have guns are those who are already criminals who break the law, which leaves the law abiding citizens defenseless against them. guns already exist, there's no getting rid of them, so they should be available to anyone to level the playing field.

Imho, guns should NOT be banned. However, I do think that there need to be more stringent rules for ownership. Classes, education, and certainly time on the range.

no, I think police and people like that need guns... I think they should toughen the criteria to getting one, and do more sweeps of gangs and stuff like that... but there will always be a bad guy with a gun

No, guns should not be banned. However, there should be severe penalties enforced on those who use any gun illegally.

Yes, I believe guns should only be in the hands of law enforcement, and retired after they do.
