My parents over my spouse. My parents never ruined my credit rating, ignored me, took me for granted, nor were they slobs who did nothing but eat, sleep and fart and play video games all day.
I have more respect for my parents, that's for sure.

questions like this kinda bother me. i find it hard to see how people can place "more or less" on love. with a spouse and parents there are two different kinds of love. in my opinion if you love someone you love them and that is it. i couldn't say i love my dad more then my mom or one sister more then another.

My wife,was never that close to my family,always felt like a stranger and never fit,I left home and joined the army in 69 and have never been back.

Well here's an interesting answer... My dad is a drunk, my step-mom is a *****, my birth-mom died when I was 10, and I do not have a spouse.
