He never comes back when he says he's going to. It's not that he's gone longer, like I need him with me, but he doesn't even call to tell me. I'm not talking like a half hour, I mean sometimes 4 and 5 hours. This especially makes me mad when he's out drinking with buddies. He'll say, I'll be home about midnight. Here he comes at 5 a.m. puking on the back steps. He hasn't done this in a while, so maybe he's finally growing up - maybe. Also, his spending habits. He never thinks about all the little things that have to go out between paychecks that can't be paid ahead, like my gas expense (I have a 55 mile commute to work each day) or the oops-we're-out-of-diapers situations, or groceries. AAAHHHHH. So, when we need money for necessities right before a paycheck, it's not there.

I may have a different definition of 'worst'. It isn't really a bad thing, although it concerns me:

He has me on a very high pedestal.

I do my best to politely, gently, respectfully add reality to the situation. It's a little tough.

He's a lot younger than I am, and I was his 'first', so I guess that's where it comes from.

I love the respect, I just want his view of me to be a bit less idealized.

My ex husband , was a cheater, you can't change that.
My ex husband was a thief, he lost two jobs for stealing
My ex husband was a liar. He never could tell the truth.
My ex husband was a booster . You can't change the character traits in someone no matter how hard you want them to change . Only they can do that and my ex enjoyed being a jerk.

He is constantly telling me pieces of trivia without context and then drones on and repeats himself. Right now, he's telling me about the chemical properties of mercury. It's annoying, but I also like that about him until he repeats himself, then it's like "Yea, I got it the first time. Just because I don't have anything meaningful to add or I just don't care, doesn't mean that I didn't understand or remember."

There's nothing I wish I could change. Change is a personal choice.

Question to women who feel they MUST change a man.

Why do work so hard to change a man and when you are mad at him you all but always say the following;

Your not the person I met. You've changed, I don't know you any more.

And when you are calling the marriage quits, you are most likely to say; He is not the man I married.

So that's an admission you get with guys and then want to change them.

You don't like to be sized up for your t*ts and a*ss; well guess what - we don't like to be sized up for our dicks or how good of a 'project' we are.

Find something else to pour your remodeling efforts into besides another human being.
