It's just the inside of the diaper getting wet forming it to look that way that's all.

I believe that these are the absorbant gel material that makes up the core of the diaper. One way to tell is to see if these are more "gel like" and swelled when wet, then dry them out with, for example, a blow dryer (careful not to scatter them!) or by putting them over a heater vent, and see if they become a more "sand-like" bit when dry. If so, this is just the absorbing material from the diaper. (If you're really worried, cut one of the diapers in half and shake it out and these crystals will fall out- compare to what you found on your son.)
This is not a harmful material. It can easily be wiped off of your sons stomach with a washcloth. This is very similar in chemical composition to ingredients in cosmetics and that makes that outer coatings of some medicines. It is non toxic. Of course, if your son were to eat it, that wouldn't be good, as it would likely contain his own body excriment if swelled, and anyway it isn't good to eat a lot of non-food/ drink items if you're a baby. The worst though would be that he'd maybe get runny poo for a bit.
I wouldn't be concerned if I were you. It is normal for a little bit (just a few) of the gel crystals to come out. The side of the bags for most diapers even mention this!

Some brands of diapers tear a small amount. When they get wet, the pee crystalizes or turns into a kind of jelly stuff. It's probably just the effects of a small tear in a very wet diaper.
If he doesn't seem to be in pain or anything (trust me, a little boy passing anything solid like "small clear crystal things" will be in pain), mention it at his next doctor visit, but I don't think you need to make a point to contact the doctor for this alone.

Some diapers do this. I have had diapers (usually the generic ones) that turn into a gel type clear thing when very wet~~like after bed or a nap~~. If you don't think that is what it could be, you may want to watch close and talk to your Dr. Maybe keep the diaper and show it to someone else and get a second opinion.

That crystal thing is from the diaper and it means you are not changing him on time and the diaper is ready to start coming apart. Try changing him more often that way you will not see the clear crystal jelly. It also will prevent diaper rash, very painful.

Some of the diapers have a material in them that gels when it gets wet. If there is a tear in the lining of the diaper somewhere, that may be what you're seeing. I remember growing up when people brought their babies to go swimming in the river at our mountain cabin, a lot of the diapers would get too much water in them and essentially burst open and everything was gel. Hope that helps.

No need to call the Dr. it comes from the diaper it self. If you were to open a wet diaper u would see these little things that soak up the pee and they turn to a gel state when wet.

I called my pediatrician in a panic when I first saw this in my son's diaper! She said that there was nothing to worry about. If the crystals are clear they are from the diaper (pampers tend to do this a lot, I have noticed).

If your child is really wet, like you notice this most after a nap and in the morning then you are experiencing what a lot of mothers are experiencing. I was really paranoid about it and my doctor informed me that the inside of certain brand of diapers such as Huggies and Pampers (they have lots of layers for absorbancy) reacts with your child's urine and hince the crystals. I wouldn't worry it is all normal. Wipe them off and go about your day.
