Yes. They have much faster metabolisms than us or cats and dogs, so they defecate far more frequently. The poo should be small round pellets which quickly dry. Rabbits also produce soft wet poo, more like ours, but they eat this - food needs to pass through their digestive system twice before all the nutrients can be extracted. The pellets are the final product.

So long your rabbits is producing plenty of pellets and has a clean bottom, that's normal. You only need to be worried if no pellets are produced for more than 12 hours - this is very bad in a rabbit.

Well, if it's just round little balls, it should be normal. If it's stinky and more like human poo... it's probably diarrhea.. not normal. And yes, rabbits crap a lot. I've been working on mine for a couple months, and while he pees in the litter box, he still poops everyone. Thank god the poop doesn't smell.

It is normal. They should have food and clean water available to them at all times. So don't worry no matter how many of those little pellets are around. Just enjoy your pet.

If it is diarreha (sp?) then that could be a problem because bunnies and other small pets (hamsters) are known to die from diarreha.
So if its looking like diarreha i would suggest taking your bunny to a vet.
If its normal poop, then its fine.

I,m not sure of what your version of " a lot " is,
but rabbits need to eat to poop, just dont overfeed
with pellets, and give him all the Timothy Hay everyday
he wants.

Heres a site all about rabbits.

it is very normal and inevetable. you can train it to only go in its litter box or cage if ur worried about it pooping on you or in your house. all rodents--especially rabbits--poop ALL THE TIME! you should be worried if it stops pooping. however if the poop doesnt come out in neat little pellets and its all gouey (sorry 2 gross u out!) you may consider rethinking its diet.

Unless it has some sort of infection it is natural.

Stop shoving so much food at it , and less will come out the other end.

Yep - normal.

Has your bunny selected his/her bathroom corner yet? It will often look like a lot, because they'll concentrate it all in one area.
