1963 Communist Goals
Printable Version
The communist goals were entered into the Congressional record by Albert Herlong, Jr. (a Floridian who served in Congress from 1949-69).
1) US acceptance of coexistence as the only alternative to atomic war.
2) US willingness to capitulate in preference to engaging in atomic war.
3) Develop the illusion that total disarmament by the US would be a demonstration of "moral strength."
4) Permit free trade between all nations regardless of Communist affiliation and regardless of whether or not items could be used for war.
5) Extension of long term loans to Russia and Soviet Satellites.
6) Provide American aid to all nations regardless of Communist domination.
7) Grant recognition of Red China, and admission of Red China to the UN.
8) Set up East and West Germany as separate states in spite of Khrushchev's promise in 1955 to settle the Germany question by free elections under supervision of the UN.
9) Prolong the conferences to ban atomic tests because the US has agreed to suspend tests as long as negotiations are in progress.
10) Allow all Soviet Satellites individual representation in the UN.
11) Promote the UN as the only hope for mankind. If its charter is rewritten, demand that it be set up as a one world government with its own independent armed forces. (Some Communist leaders believe the world can be taken over as easily by the UN as by Moscow. Sometimes these two centers compete with each other as they are now doing in the Congo).
12) Resist any attempt to outlaw the Communist Party.
13) Do away with loyalty oaths.
14) Continue giving Russia access to the US Patent Office.
15) Capture one or both of the political parties in the US.
16) Use technical decisions of the courts to weaken basic American institutions, by claiming their activities violate civil rights.
17) Get control of the schools. Use them as transmission belts for Socialism, and current Communist propaganda. Soften the curriculum. Get control of teachers associations. Put the party line in text books.
18) Gain control of all student newspapers.
19) Use student riots to foment public protests against programs or organizations which are under Communist attack.
20) Infiltrate the press. Get control of book review assignments, editorial writing, policy-making positions.
21) Gain control of key positions in radio, TV & motion pictures.
22) Continue discrediting American culture by degrading all form of artistic expression. An American Communist cell was told to "eliminate all good sculpture from parks and buildings," substitute shapeless, awkward, and meaningless forms.
23) Control art critics and directors of art museums. "Our plan is to promote ugliness, repulsive, meaningless art."
24) Eliminate all laws governing obscenity by calling them "censorship" and a violation of free speech and free press.
25) Break down cultural standards of morality by promoting pornography, and obscenity in books, magazines, motion pictures, radio and TV.
26) Present homosexuality, degeneracy, and promiscuity as "normal, natural, and healthy."
27) Infiltrate the churches and replace revealed religion with "social" religion. Discredit the Bible and emphasize the need for intellectual maturity, which does not need a "religious crutch."
28) Eliminate prayer or any phase of religious expression in the schools on the grounds that it violates the principle of "separation of church and state."
29) Discredit the American Constitution by calling it inadequate, old fashioned, out of step with modern needs, a hindrance to cooperation between nations on a worldwide basis.
30) Discredit the American founding fathers. Present them as selfish aristocrats who had no concern for the "common man".
31) Belittle all forms of American culture and discourage the teaching of American history on the ground that it was only a minor part of "the big picture": Give more emphasis to Russian history since the Communists took over.
32) Support any socialist movement to give centralized control over any part of the culture - - education, social agencies, welfare programs, mental health clinics, etc.
33) Eliminate all laws or procedures, which interfere with the operation of the Communist apparatus.
34) Eliminate the House Committee on Un-American Activities.
35) Discredit and eventually dismantle the FBI.
36) Infiltrate and gain control of more unions.
37) Infiltrate and gain control of big business.
38) Transfer some of the powers of arrest from the police to social agencies. Treat all behavioral problems as psychiatric disorders which no one but psychiatrists can understand or treat.
39) Dominate the psychiatric profession and use mental health laws as a means of gaining coercive control over those who oppose Communist goals.
40) Discredit the family as an institution. Encourage promiscuity and easy divorce.
41) Emphasize the need to raise children away from the negative influence of parents. Attribute prejudices, mental blocks and retarding of children to suppressive influence of parents.
42) Create the impression that violence and insurrection are legitimate aspects of the American tradition; that students and special interest groups should rise up and make a "united force" to solve economic, political, or social problems.
43) Overthrow all colonial governments before native populations are ready for self-government.
44) Internationalize the Panama Canal.
45) Repeal the Connally Reservation so the US can not prevent the World Court from seizing jurisdiction over domestic problems. Give the World Court jurisdiction over domestic problems. Give the World Court jurisdiction over nations and individuals alike.

1: cons are fascist they embody fascism, which can be identified by blind superpatriotism I.E. "no matter how much evil it does, I love my country". Facism supports war. Liberalism does not. Facism supports strong single national identity. liberalism promotes multiculturalism.

2: History is always being revised. They used to teach kids that America was founded by pilgrims, and that the pilgrims were the first people to arrive aside from Columbus. Now they teach correctly that plymouth was a tiny colony in the north, while the larger plantation colonies thrived to the south before plymouth. History is revised when new facts come to light, or when old lies are dispelled. You're probably just upset because you were taught and belive the old lies. (such as the one that lincoln went to war to free the slaves)

With someone asking questions like this does it prove that their education has had any impact at all on logic and reasoning ability? While you're at it, look up the meaning of Fascism. Here's a brief blurb...

Various scholars attribute different characteristics to fascism, but the following elements are usually seen as its integral parts: nationalism, authoritarianism, militarism, corporatism, collectivism, totalitarianism, anti-communism, and opposition to economic and political liberalism.

Note the phrase 'opposition to' at the end of the paragraph. Which this definition in mind, what ideological group does that sound like?

Not in all cases, however there are racist professors that don't even teach the subjects they are being paid to teach. They simply use there class time to promote their agenda. I know this is a fact at Lamar University in Texas because my child had to endure his vile, hateful rants for an entire semester.

Try to hold your laughter as you read this. A task force has determined that Harvard University's curriculum isn't -- get this -- as relevant to the "real world" as it should be. Nooooooo. But the Real Story is that Harvard, along with so many other colleges and universities, isn't teaching our kids anymore; they're indoctrinating them. Now, I know that conservatives screaming about liberal professors is nothing new, so for once let me give you some actual statistics and evidence to prove just how prevalent this has become.A recent study revealed that 72% of college professors label themselves as "liberal" compared with just 15% claiming to be conservative. And if you look at only the elite schools -- the places like Harvard -- 87% say they're liberal. Did you hear that? 87%! And it's not like they're all teaching Art History...they're spread throughout every discipline. One of the professors who co-authored the study said, quote "There was no field...in which there were more conservatives than liberals or more Republicans than Democrats."That is absolutely outrageous. But I can already hear the response now, "You just hold on a minute there mister. Their political views don't matter at all, they just teach the facts!"Right. They "teach" the facts like I will win the next Powerball. We all have our own biases, we all see things through our own prisms, and it's fine if you're honest about it, but just like most journalists, most professors aren't. A study of students at the top 50 U.S. universities and colleges found that almost half of students said their professors, "use the classroom to present their personal political views." Wow, half, what a coincidence. That's just how about the country is split in terms of politics. See, you don't think it's indoctrination if you actually agree with what you're hearing. But the worst part is that 30% of students felt like they actually had to agree with their professors' views in order to get a good grade. You don't call that indoctrination?College should be about getting both sides of the argument and making up your own mind. Professors aren't there to teach us what to think; they're there to teach us how* to think -- and it's about time they start remembering that.

We need comprehensive education reform. The President proposed the revolutionary idea of giving local leaders more flexibility to turn around their own failing schools. Wait a second - are you telling me that the local community and parents can do a better job than the Government? Pleaseee, have you been to the DMV lately? They have the wait for a license down to like, two and half hours! But the Real Story is that you can give those local leaders all the "flexibility" you want, but nothing will really get done until we fix -- ready, I'm not sure I'm even allowed to say this: teacher's unions. Now teachers - before you start hating me -- please hear me out because I think, if you're a GOOD teacher; you'll agree with everything I'm about to say: Teacher tenure and union contracts stand against everything a free market system stands for. You want to reward the best of the best by paying them more? Sorry, the current union contract doesn't allow for that. You want to fire the worst teachers each year and bring in new ones with fresh ideas? Sorry, can't do it, they've got tenure.Imagine if you ran a small business with those same rules. Why would your employees ever want to work harder when there's no way to reward them OR discipline them? It's an invitation to mediocrity and it's exactly what made the Soviet Union into what it is today. If you ran your business like that, you'd be bankrupt in a month.Well our schools essentially are bankrupt -- but since they have a monopoly there's no competitor ready to come in and clean up the mess.In New York City, a teacher putting in just three years of service is eligible for - ready for this? -- LIFETIME tenure. Now, the union will come back and say, "well, yes, but they don't just hand it to you, there's a REVIEW process after those three years" Uh huh, well the Department of Education says that 99% of teachers who make it through the three years get the lifetime tenure. I can imagine how thorough that review process must be.In Bergen County, New Jersey there are over 10,000 teachers. Take a wild guess how may had been fired through the tenure process over a TEN YEAR period? Try zero. Not even one. And it's because of the absolutely ridiculous amount of time and money it takes to fire a tenured teacher - even when the case is open and shut. For example a New York City school found out that a teacher was sending sexual emails to a 16-year old student. They had the email and the teacher confessed to it. But guess what? It took six years and thousands of dollars before he could actually be fired. And even though we wasn't teaching during that time...he still took him his entire six-year salary of over $350,000.This is an absolute embarrassment and thankfully someone besides this rodeo clown seems to agree. New York Mayor Bloomberg announced last week a new initiative to reform the city's tenure process...an announcement that came as quite a shock to the head of the teachers union.

Conservatives invented revisionism. The fact that Lincoln is still considered to be the best President is proof. He was a radical Republican who suspended the Bill of Rights, caused the death of 620,000 Americans and instituted martial law in the Union, yet he is praised.

I am not saying that Ivory Tower liberals are not doing it also, but you cannot single them out.

That's "edufication". I can see you're not very well educated.

The REAL historic revisionists are those who have been claiming that the Founding Fathers were a bunch of Bible-totin' Fundamentalists who intended to create a Theocracy, when in fact they were Unitarians, Deists, and Freemasons who had a poor opinion of Bible-beaters and wanted to isolate them from power.

Absolutely they are! They have portrayed conservatives and Christians as in being evil in the past. They love to twist and spin the facts to suit their own worldview. They don't want the truth of what really happened in history, lest their ideology be shown for what it is - wicked and false!
