It is the fat and the salt.
I no longer eat McDonald's fries.
I have reached my goal weight and remain there.
Buy a real potato or two.
Slice it into french fry portions (no need to peel).
Put it in a plastic bag.
Add 1 tablespoon or less of oil.
Sprinkle a small amount of salt in bag.
Shake bag.
Remove potatoes from bag.
Put in shallow pan.
Broil or bake in oven til crisp.
After a while you will discover that these are more tasty and better for you than the fast food variety!
You will save money.
Enjoy!
Mmmm!
I am going to prepare some right now!

Your body craves fat.
Fries are loaded with it. McDonald's fries a lot of foods with fat.
The only way to break the addiction is to stay away from the place for a month.
Be strong. You can do it.

Three orders in one sitting? Girl, the problem is NOT McDonald's. The problem is you. That is not normal, and it is certainly not healthy. Other people eat their fries in limited quantities and have no problems quitting or eating something else. Maybe you have an addictive personality. Maybe you have some sort of mental issue. I advise you discuss your french fry addiction with your doctor before you are discussing heart disease or diabetes with them instead.

An addiction is a habit. We start our kids off at very young ages-the moment they have teeth. It's quick (drive through helps), can be cheap, available and parents have passed this on as being acceptable and enjoyable, a treat; because we too are products of the fast food generation. Not to be rude, by any means, but the old saying of Monkey see-Monkey do just might apply here.

It's nothing in McDonald's that makes it addictive. It would be illegal to market such an addictive item to children. It's something about you that makes you have such an addictive personality.
However, those fries ARE good! Some people just have more self-control than others.

McDonalds is sooooo good. also, the prices are addicting. 3 or 4 dollars is a good deal for a whole meal instead a restaurant who charges 20 dollars for each person to make a reservation.

I find the opposite. Eating at McDonald's on some rare occasion makes me think that I never want to eat there again.
