Life on earth is tied to the availability of liquid water.
The moon keeps that water moving on earth with its gravity and therefore less of our freezes. We also sit in a sweet spot in the solar system that gives tremendous amount of energy to keep our oceans warm. Both the sun and the moon have their input. Without a moon the earth would be different but would probably have many forms of life.

The tidal forces of the moon is nearly identical to that of the sun. It could be argued, that though the moon help increase the peak and trough of tides when in alignment with the sun, it also flattens out the tides when not.
Life itself would probably have developed without this added tidal effect. Early forms of life in water basins and oceans wouldn't have felt much in the way of these forces just as we humans today aren't attuned to them. It is easy to come to the conclusion that since life as we know it is basically bags of water (humans included) that we are more affected by tidal forces than solids. We see the tides in the oceans but what we don't realize is that the land itself pulls and contracts the same way.
Now, the occasional high tides caused by the moon and sun working together may have caused a more rapid change form purely aquatic life to life capable of living on both land and in the water

yes the life can exist without moon ,moon dosent effect the life in the earth it just makes tidal forces which moves the waters on the surface but existing the moon can effect the life in a long period of time like 4 million years because the tidal forces decrease the earth's rotation and they make earth faced lock with the sun so a half of the earth is always night and the other is always light

While the moon does influence Earth's tides, Earth's weather cycles are produced by the Sun. Wind, water and other weather cycles are caused either directly or indirectly by the Sun. The effect of tide, or the moon would have had no effect on early microorganisms. Life as we know it would continue without the moon. However some theorize the moon brought vital biological material necessary for life.

Probably not but not for the reason you think. The moon keeps the earth's tilt at a decent angle. Without it, our axis would wobble and the earth would actually have it's axis laying on it's side at times. That means it would be a year long day.

Yes, life could exist on earth without the moon. It would have evolved differently than we know it today, but it would still be self-replicating molecules that process energy.

Life could exist without a moon. There would be many differences, but not enough th prevent life from developing.
