When I was younger I suffered from night terrors, in my teens I had sleeping paralysis - I still have sleeping paralysis once or twice a month.

As a child I did have reaccuring nightmares and sometimes I'd wake from one dream ino the next. After some nightmares I really did wake up aching, I still wake up with a stiff neck after bad dreams.

I've saved the best for last though and I promise this is true, even though it sounds like a crappy horror movie:

When I was child I would have terrible nightmares and in my dreams I had a way to get out of them - I had to find a mirror to wake up. My parents were worried as almost every night I'd actually sleep walk down the stairs and stand in front of long mirror that was at the bottom of their bed - they'd wake up, I'd be standing there, they'd wake me and I'd start crying. The fact that there was a relation between what I had to do in my dream to wake up and my actual sleep walking was creepy to say the least. My parents got rid of the mirror and my dreams weren't so bad.

As a result I always cover mirrors in any place I sleep - stupid habit but it helps me sleep.

apparently one particular girl, when i was still at school, had a dream about being scratched on her back by a cat and then the next day, she woke up with a large slash there. I don't know if it's true or not, since i never got to see the wound.

Well, everytime I have a dream about a floating ball of fire, I know someone in my family is going to die.
Once when I was a lot younger, I had a dream where a man that I couldn't make out was hitting me. When I woke up, I had bruises where he had hit me in my dream.
