Sen. Leahy compares the messages about eight fired U.S. attorneys to the Nixon tapes. “Those e-mails are there. They just don’t want to produce them. It’s like the infamous 18-minute gap in the Nixon White House tapes.”

It never fails to amaze me that we somehow consistently elect the most corrupt individuals who lie, cheat, steal and screw the public as well as themselves every chance they get!
It's too bad most people don't realize that there are more than just the 2 party's that they consistently vote for.
We really need to try someone other than the demicans and republicrats!

This "scandal" is a non-scandal. The Bush administration fired 8 US attorneys. Clinton fired all 93 and no one blinked. The US attorneys serve at the pleasure of the President, they all know that.
As far as "missing" emails go, I personally don't save every email I send or receive. What's the big deal?

there is not any "lacking raw documents" the question replaced into in how short increments did they need to base their graph on for plotting lengthy time period developments! short united statesand downs weren't suitable! as well that and using the note "trick" as a joking thanks to describe doing some thing. Nixon had a gang of thugs performing criminal breakins to scouse borrow coaching of political opponents - you've were given to be friggin kidding me!

Another day, another scandal. Ya gotta love how this administration keeps the media on their toes. It'll be interesting to begin hearing the comparisons between bush and nixon on this issue.

Yes. And please note this adminstration's long standing history of "misplacing" documents and emails until absolutely nailed with proof of them, at which point they are usually "found" and blame is placed on some lower level techie or some mysterious "process."

These claims have no credibility.

If we put Fitzgerald on the case, with broad discrection as a special prosecutor, you know they'd "find" these in a heartbeat.

Another day another example of how the dems prefer to hunt Bush rather than creating and passing legislation they promised during the election cycle to help the American people.

We KNOW Bush=bad got it, cannot forget it. Now do your F'in jobs!
