I have all types of dreams even when i take short naps. Some i remember and some i dont. Some are wierd, some scary, and some hold on to me and make me feel like i can't go anywhere until i wake up out of the dreams. Some times i think i fight my sleep just to keep from having dreams. I remember someone had a book over 10 years ago that told them what lotto numbers to play by there dreams. So i'm sure there is something on a web site somewhere that can tell me what my dreams mean.

Go to the website of Dream Moods, I have found it helpful in interpreting some of my dreams.

Just do a google search on meaning of dreams and you'll get a ton of sites to come up. The problem is that you'll find all kinds of different info on different sites. And dreams are deciphered by certain symbols, which can be translated in different ways. With not very much expereince in this, you may choose to translate your dream how you see fit instead of the actual meaning. My suggestion is to check out a couple books from the library instead. You just can't trust all the info you get off the internet. Or you can find a professional who specializes in this sort of thing. It might cost you a pretty penny, but you can research them and talk to other customers of theirs first. All I'm saying is if you're really worried about these dreams, why take your chances on getting false information?

If you do a search for dream symbols, I'm sure you will turn up some sites. There are also good books out there about it. There is alot more to dream analysys than just looking up a symbol though, and even though dream dictionaries can give you ideas to work with, the only thing you can truly get out of that is the author's opinion what the symbol means to him. Your meaning for a symbol may be much different. You may attach different meanings to symbols according to your culture, you may also attach different meanings to a symbol based on your experience with it. I think an airplane means intellectual exploration, for example, but your meaning for it would be much different, if you were a pilot, if you took a plane to vegas to get married, or if you lost a family member in 9 / 11. Way different meanings. So even though dream dictionaries can offer ideas to work with, you still have to do alot of free association to figure out if any of those ideas have relevance for you, or if you have to look further for a meaning. There are many other factors you have to pay attention to in order to put the story together. Where you are, who you are with, what you are doing, what your attitude is, what the attitude of the people around you is, the overall tone of the dream, just to name a few. One thing I would recommend is that you should start keeping a dream log. I have been keeping one since 1986. It helps to record the dream so you won't forget it. Some dreams you may have to come back to several times before you can get some meaning out of them, and you will forget them quickly if you don't write them down. Keeping a dream log also helps you to tune in to your own dream vocabulary, and learn your own language, as you start to pick up on patterns, and start to notice certain symbols showing up during situations in your life time. You never know when a dream symbol is just going to pop in out of left field, either. I recently did an interpretation where a passage from a book just popped in to my head, and it fit her dream just perfectly, and she apparently thought so too. That one just came way out of left field, a complete interepretation from a work of fiction.

No-one can tell you what your dreams mean, because dreams are all individual. If I dream about a big hairy spider chasing me, and I hate spiders, to me it means something in my life is overwhelming me. If a guy who was mad about bugs dreamed about a big spider, to him it might mean something completely different.

Perhaps you should write down your dreams in a diary, and try to analyse them yourself, from your own point of view?
