There are tax write offs for dependants (thats what they can be listed as if conditions meet); other then that... medicare/medicade and sometimes even private insurance will pay for medicine, equipment, etc. But Food, Electric, Heat etc... on your own unless they own the house. In which case the start by signing it over to the state (but get to live in it) and it only gets better from there.

There is nothing available. A few years ago Hillary Clinton said she was going to work on getting financial assistance for those taking care of elderly parents. Write Hillary and and ask what is the status of that plan.
