I woke up and went to work. There have been quite a few days lately where I would rather just stay home and sleep in. I haven't had a vacation for myself in a long time except one day to go on a work-sponsored trip to Amish country. It was ok, but...
I guess finally getting around to filing my taxes today would make me happy tomorrow too. I should be getting a refund.

Did whatever it takes to get my parents a cab ride even if I needed to wait under heavy rain for 5 minutes, all soaked wet, and bring them one by one by using my tiny little umbrella to the cab. I'm proud of that today as family still comes first through rain or shine.

my husband hasn't seen me cry. His grandma is dying and he is terribly upset so I am upset for him, but I don't want to show him. He needs me to be strong today and tomorrow and I will be proud of that.

I vaccumed my car out for the first time in a few months. I have two small kids, I think I found half a chocolate donut back there. Can't be sure though, it was already decomposing.
