i heard that if you are left handed then you had a symmetrical twin inside the womb who was right handed but died when they had only been growing for a couple of weeks... if that is true then left handed people are the leftovers so probably not more intelligent. i don't think there's any difference...

I'm right-handed. Most of the left-handed people I have met are quite intelligent. I can't really say which one is more intelligent though.

All I know is I am Right Handed, and, on average, right handed people live up to 8 years longer than a left handed person.

Re-wired from left to right in grade school. Now I am merely confused, and rather clumsy.

No, I do not believe intelligence is intrinsically linked to hand dominance. But I do think that being left-handed has a rather unique perspective to offer the world... face it... most don't even consider another view... they are, after all, in the majority.

I was born left handed, but went to a very old fashioned school who though sinister people were the spawn of Satan, so had it beaten out of me! I write with my right hand now, but still favour the left for a lot of other things!

I write with my left hand. Technically I am perhaps ambidextrous: there are some things I do right-handed and other things I do left-handed, and some things, like eating with utensils, that I do both ways (and am not even aware of switching it around). I can write much more legibly with my right hand than most right-handed people can write with their left hands -- I suppose if some sadistic teacher had wanted to force right-handedness on me it wouldn't have been too difficult.

(As to your second question: of course! ;p Intelligent, creative, prone to genius and prone to madness....so They say.)

I'm right handed, don't think it makes a difference in the brain department as to whether your right or left handed

I'm left-handed and I consider myself to be of average intelligence.
