There is such a thing called a "non -rechargeable" battery charger which under no circumstances should be confused with a NICAD battery charger or a NIMH (Nickel Metal Hydride) charger as these two perform in a totally different way. The maximum time a "non-rechargeable" battery can be recharged is 5 times. The special device needed to recharge this type of battery far outweighs the cost of buying a NIMH or a NICAD battery charger and a set of rechargeable batteries. You risk explosion if you try to recharge an alkaline battery in a charger of this type.

Yes it is possible with care. However the recharged battery will have very inferior performance (low capacity / poor voltage) and will probably leak. It's just not worth the hassle.

I seriously do NOT recommend doing this firstly because it is not safe to try things like that and it wont work - hense the phrase "non-rechargeable".

Please think before asking the stupidest questions ever!
