Also during a Guardian trial for the custody of his wife The Democrat Judge said Verbal and physical abuse was ok since he was from the OLD SCHOOL. My Question is Why is this acceptible to the Democrat party? I only ask this due to the fact that. My wife is a Republican and her political preference was brought out in court by her father and the Judge had rude comments about her politics. This had nothing to do with the reason for being there. A lot of people believe that the Republican Party is full of, or condones, racists and racist philosophies...

This simply isn't true!

Did you know that the first Republican elected President was Abraham Lincoln?

Did you know that the Ku Klux Klan was formed in Tennessee in 1866 by Democrats?

Did you know that U.S. Senator Robert Byrd (D-WV) was once a card carrying member of the KKK?

Did you know that the first African-American Secretary of State (Colin Powell) was appointed by a Republican (George W. Bush)?

Ever seen Family Guy?
Brian is an excellent example of your typical democrat. He puts on a facade of loving and accepting everyone, but every now and again he just tosses out a racial slur. Democrat 101.

This sort of thing would be frowned on by the Democratic party - in public. Behind closed doors, this is the stuff they brag about.

Interesting note: Affirmative action is one of the most degrading things that anyone has ever done - to any minority group.
What does it really mean? = "Frankly, we think that since you are of a minority group, you must be stupid. Since you are so stupid, we will force a company to hire you (for a position you probably aren't qualified for). This will of course ensure your vote in the next election . . . I mean your success in the future."
Look at welfare, government housing, minority exclusive scholarships. . . the list goes on. They are all ways that democrats tell minorities, "We think you're too stupid to live."

Your father-in-law is a racist. Plain and simple. The judge is way behind the times. These two things have nothing to do with being a democrat. Most of my friends and family are democrats and they're nothing like that. Actually, my mother is a republican and a terrible racist. Does that make all mothers racist?

Ignorance abounds in this country and while I am not shocked to hear your story, I am saddened. What the mainstream media and the Democratic Party have been so successful at is to paint this broad brush on the redneck, racist, toothless, stupid, ignorant, NASCAR loving Republican Party. They have been successul at re-writing the true Civil Rights history of our country heralding Democrats as the heros to the African American community. They hold up charletons like Al Sharpton and Jesse Jackson as their freedom fighters against the evil white men keeping their race down. It is hypocracy at its best and worst.

Unfortunately, extremism and intolerance do not adhere to political boundries and ideologies. There are a great many bigots in both the Republican and Democratic parties. It is the ideological extremists in both parties that are the pervayors of this attitiude of interlerance. It is important for us all to realize that the vast majority of americans, both liberal and conservative are not intolerant bigots.

It must be that your Father in law and the judge are false "profits", like the ones you state you don't like in your profile!! LOL, I guess you mean prophets.

I would lock them in a room with your parrot Fred until they renouce being democrats and join the GOP.

Nah, seriously, beware of assigning labels, specially of racist to a party as a whole. It will make you look ignorant. Of course it is not acceptable by neither party dems or reps. It just happens that this pair of individuals are racist.

Whoaa. don't paint Democrats with that brush. The judge is a kook and so is your father-in-law. You need to appeal that decision and make it very clear what the judge said, of he really said it. Call your state attorney general and ask how to initiate a review on that judge.

Socially, it's the Reublicans who are less tolerant. If you are making this up as a way to denigrate democrats, then shame on you!

I think people like that are not just Democrats- there are racist Republicans as well. Ignorance and stupidity is not affiliated with certain political party and not other, it exists everywhere.

He probably feels that you have not discharged your duty as a wife. He may be under the wrong impression that you need to serve your husband (his son) and he has yet to see that happen. Your father in law is likely to be a person who expects quite a lot and is observant and is a person who serves his wife to the standard in which he thinks is good. Or perhaps you have shown black face to your colleague at work and you are getting the punishment at home?
