The photo albums with my son's baby pictures, and my books. I treasure the pictures because like most mothers my son is my pride and joy. I treasure my books because they are like good friends to me.

Hi Dharma, Thought long and hard about this one, I have many material things that I've collected over the years but none really mean the world to me. The one thing I wish I still had but do not, is a handwritten letter from my mother when I moved away from home for the first time. She's been gone for about 12 years now, and I'd love to be able to read that letter again in her handwriting. The other thing I greatly treasure is my Canadian citizenship papers. Although I lived here for most of my life I didn't become a citizen until about 7 years ago.

I once thought it was the jewelry I had accumulated thru the years but when a fire broke out at my first home; I went immediately for the family photos and the small treasures that my children had either made or bought for me at their school Christmas bizarres. I keep them all safe in a glass cabinet in my room. Although they are old enough to purchase things now ; I treasure those huge gifts from their hearts. Poems, Cards, drawings, miniature figurines of my favorite things that they thought of.
Everything else is insured and those things are priceless and irreplaceable.

My Gibson ES-333.
Prized because my Mom gave it to me and she NEVER gives gifts that are that expensive. A once in a lifetime thing.

A decorated music box made out of an egg. It reminds me of the ones made in Russia, and my Mom gave it to me years ago.

My house.
I have just adquired it, and still paying for it. But i had never felt before how comfortable it is the idea that whatever that happens with your life, you will have a place to live, to hide, and why not to share with the person you love.

My house. For several reasons:
It's very nice inside and out. I worked very hard on decorating it and it turned out very well - and very reflective of my husband's and my style.
It's in a beautiful neighborhood.
It's quite nice for our age and I think that speaks to the fact that we worked hard (espacially my husband) to get where we are in life.
