What if the only way you could stay online was to pay $10,000 a year. Would you find a way to pay it?

It is entertainment, how I stay connected to many old friends whom I probably would not otherwise, it is convient (bill pay, bank access, etc.).
I really doubt we could afford $833/month for it though.

defo. i am a computer nerd and I play on the internet 18 hours a day. I would sell my house (worth over £2million) and live in a shed to keep the internet.

i love the internet, its how i've maintained contact with my friends and family back home but if i lost it i wouldn't care after the withdrawals are over. lol. any thoughts i have could always be penned in a notebook. if i didn't have that i would resort to the measures that geoffrey rush's character ( i think i spelt his name right) in the movie quills.

I'm an artist making $22k a year. The answer is no. I'd just use it at work or the library for free.

I use it constantly, but if I had to pay $10k a year, I would only use it at work and forgo it at home.
