Whatever. The fact remains that the Constitution provides specific offenses which are impeacable, and GWB has done none of them. In addition, if by some Democrat illegality he WERE impeached, he would only be replaced by Cheney. Hardly an improvement! On top of that, it would only be for a very short time period. Considering how long it would take to make it happen, he could well still be in office while they're bickering about how to go about it.
The NBA has nothing to do with it. It simply ain't gonna happen.

I think they have learned from the impeachment of Clinton that it is nothing but partisan BS that just serves to distract the country from real issues. I find it funny that Republicans like to blame Clinton for 9/11, when the last two years of his presidency they did all they could to pull attention away from other issues and towards the whole Monica Lewinsky scandal, which honestly, was not that big of a deal, so he got a BJ, there are more important things going on in the world.
Besides, I think an impeachment case against Bush would be flimsy at best, and would only serve to undermine the support the Democrats currently have.

Impeachment has in no way been on the table. Bush is only too on the ingredient of being out besides and to boot the extra corruption and screw united statescame upon the extra powerful that's for Democrats interior the election. Impeachment might, as interior the previous, be a waste of tax payer money and there are too many Republicans in Congress to ward off it besides. watch for the conflict crimes trials after he leaves place of work. that could desire to be vindication for people who choose the impeachment.

What is a "high crime?" Engaging the nation in unprovoked war on false pretext, or enjoying oral sex? I think it is clear where neocon priorities lie.
President Bush will not be impeached because Dick Cheney has done nothing impeachable, and no one wants DC to be president. Plus, impeachment would smack of revenge--"you impeach our guy, we'll impeach yours." That is an RNC trait, not a democratic one. RNC as in, "you US attorneys don't play ball and prosecute political opponents on trumped up charges, we'll fire you all."

I don't believe that Bush will be impeached, but I sure wish that he would be. However, I believe that Bush will die of a heart attack after his term is over, just after the new Democratic president will overturn the Patriot Act.

He has been the most impeachable president in the past 200 years. Just look at his administration.

No, because firstly it is costly and secondly it is lengthy, his tenure will be completed, before the completion of impeachment process. But, Bush can be prosecuted for creating terrorism and infringing the peace and security of all the people and nations of the world and caused the killing of thousands of innocent people, in Afghanistan, Iraq, Somalia,
Lebanon, Palestine, etc.,

Non sequitur of the year award.
Anyway, I'd rather see Bush impeached than even one more soldier die.

no. Pelosi has already said that she would not steer the house to impeach the president for the crimes he has committed against the American people. She'll keep her word.
