pour baking soda down your drains in the kitchen & bathroom, then pour a good amount of vinegar in after that. It helps clean out the gunk buildup in drains & leaves them smelling fresh.

I usually use vinegar to polish mirrors, window cleaning,
and in a green bean recipe -- mixing 1 to 2 cans french style beans, with 1 jar mushroom caps and 1/2 c. sliced onions, 1 jar of artichoke hearts and pour the vinegar about a cup into the other mixins and mix all that up and place in the microwave for about 8 - 10 minutes -- great dish!
That's all I know.

Vinegar is a great non-toxic disinfectant. With toddlers in the house, I use full-strength vinegar to clean out the bathtub and clean out the humidifier for their room. I use diluted vinegar to clean the glass doors and wood floors. It's also great on the chrome fixtures in the kitchen and bathroom, and for cleaning anything with which food comes into contact (i.e. cutting boards, tabletops, coffee makers).
Below are a couple of links to Web sites that talk about the various household cleaning uses of vinegar.
Enjoy your non-toxic cleaning!

Use it in the rinse cycle when washing curtains, blankets, even clothes that have a musty or smokey smell - use about 1cup in a large load -
Vinegar is also used to set color in clothing - Add 1/2cup to wash cycle - when laundering a garment for the first time set the temp for cold/cold -

Vinegar will remove hard water deposits.
1. Pour it into your coffee pot, let it sit for a few hours, rinse it out. If the coffee pot is running slowly, put vinegar into the water compartment and run it through your coffee machine a few times, followed with running plain water through a few times, to clean it out.
2. Shower heads running slowly or clogged? Remove shower head and soak it in a bowl of vinegar for several hours, rinse off. Your shower head will be clear.
3. You can use it instead of Windex to clean your windows or mirrors.
4. Hard water deposits in your toilet or sink? Let the vinegar stand for a few hours and rinse off.
Vinegar is a marvelous cleaner.

*For all these uses remember to rinse because vinegar IS an acid..
how much did you buy? A quart lasts all year for cooking.. but for cleaning:
Wash windows and use newspapers to dry for streak free shine.. shine all the chrome in the bathroom and kitchen(again remember to rinse or it will corrode the fixtures), add to water and wash walls.. if you still have too much pass it to the local food bank.
