I am wishing that now..good song is on but my reception is craptastic.

For those of you that think a cloudy day doesn't make it better, it all has to do with the airwaves. It bouces off the clouds since it can't go up in the air and scatter...therefore, makes reception better.

Never heard of cloudy weather give you better reception, why not you use your coms to listen.

I didn't know cloudy weather helped reception.
It's usually the opposite in Kansas.

Been there, done that. When my radio does that I just lick my fingers and hold the antenna til the song is over. Works for me.
