I have a different theory.
Go out for ethnic food. If the restaurant is full of the ethnicity of the food, then the restaurant is great.
For example, if you go for sushi, and you see only white people there, I'd be suspect. If I see a bunch of Japanese there eating, I know the food is really good.
See, if they can make it at home, and still come out to the restaurant, then the restaurant is outstanding.

from my expeirence non fat women cook just as well. my great nana, my nana, my mom, my aunt, my boyfriends mom and my best friends mom are all not fat and they are the best cooks ive been around.
