If it says dumping physical memory ... the blue screen of death.
Here are the options.
1. What you have to look into is your RAM (memory). Is it the original or you recently installed additional? If yes then make sure the ram is the same type. If no, continue below.
2. Update your graphic card drivers from the support website, also update your chipset drivers (motherboard) including the latest directX from microsoft site, have service pack two installed. It would also help to update your sound card drivers. Some users have experienced computer freezes when volume on the sound card is set on maximum when playing visual sound, setting it on medium immediately resolves the problem though.
3. Does you hard drive make funny noises. It could also be a dying hard drive that is causing this problem. Use a hard drive inspection tool to analyse the condition of your hard drive.
4. Make sure you do not have too many unnecessary programs running in the background that would otherwise use your ram. If so go to Start > Run > Type the following: msconfig > and click Ok > Startup > Carefully Uncheck the programs or applications that you feel should not start up when you start your computer (Be very careful on this part, if you are not sure what to do, consult a nerd!)
5. If this fails Format your hard drive and re-install everything.
6. If all else still fails, then sue Bill Gates for creating a sub standard operating system that always causes computers to crash.

Hey there
The blue screen of memory dump.
Windows uses memory to load and unload programs. Also to transfer info between programs.
A bit of tech info. Programs uses memory addresses to transfer information. when it is finished this memory must be release for other programs to use it again. Sometime windows has an error with the release of this visual memory. Then windows tumbles over. The blue screen that you see is the last program memory being released by the operating system before it closes down. Sometime the screen just freezes and other times the pc even restarts with windows telling you that your system has recovered from a critical error and would you like to inform Microsoft about this.
In a nutshell. it is errors on windows and then all basically resets.

Blue screens are hard to diagnose without knowing the error message that pops up. Do this:
Right click My Computer and then click Properties. Go to the Advanced tab and click the Settings button under Startup and Recovery. Make sure that the "Automatically Restart" checkbox is NOT checked. That will allow the blue screen to stay up long enough for you to write down the error.

the blue screen of death! at least your pc restarts, usually when you see that screen, it stays up and you can't get your computer to respond ever again. since you didn't have an antivirus before, there might have been a virus on there that already did damage. virus scan won't repair the damage done. you can take the computer into a shop or as a last resort, reformat your computer. make sure you copy important files before you reformat. good luck!

Use Event Viewer to see if it recorded something around the time of the crash.
Start->Settings->Control Panel and double click Administrative Tools and select Event Viewer.
Double click any errors and they might supply you with some information about problems on your PC. Scroll down and click on the link to Microsoft for more information and a possible remedy.

This is the work of the window protection program to prevent damage to your computer by shut down it.You can try to restore the system(to get rid those harm full programs) by get to the safe mode by hold down f8 during boot up.But if the harm full program too strong some time may not work. Then you have to go to system restore cd but will clean out all your data.

It means that windows hit a snag in a program that caused the whole computer to stop working. Lots of programs are full of bugs that will cause fatal errors to occur on you OS.
If this always happens when you are using a certain program, you might want to reinstall or stop using the program.

The blue screen came out when there's a hardware failure in the pc. usually it cames from memory, hdd, or other hardware problem. I suggest to take back yor pc to the place where you buy the pc and claim for warranty of the part of your pc.
