The remarks this man has made are insulting to every race. He stills has a job. This kind of person (I can not say the N word) needs to feed off the bottom of humanity. He keep the black community down more than any white man (cracker) has ever tried to do. Jesse and Al are a pair of loosers. I hope the white man will stand up to these idiots some day, if not they will try to fire anyone who speaks out against the blacks (only)

It's high time that many people
became aware of the following fact:

There is absolutely *no such thing* as a
singular, homogenous "black community”

Instead, there are many, many different
varieties of “communities” which have
been labeled as being "black" and there
are a great deal of diversity of opinions and
types of people found within each of them.

Thus, many matters -- such as BET, rappers, etc.
--- are *not*, in the least bit, "representative"
of "all" or even "most" of the wide variety of
very diverse "black communities" which exist
throughout the United States of America.

In addition, not one of the many, many, diverse
so-called "black communities" in the United
States have ever convened and declared
people such as 'Al Sharpton' and / or
'Jesse Jackson' as their leaders.

These men are nothing more than self-appointed
and media-appointed individuals who the
media loves to focus upon in efforts to
distract Americans from true causes.

An excellent resource is the book:

"DONT BELIEVE THE HYPE: -- Fighting
Cultural Information about African-Americans"

(-- written by Newsweek and Meet the
Press correspondent, 'Ferai Chideya')

Al Sharpton is permitted to spit venom considering the fact that he has an viewers and again-up. I do disagree with Imus pronouncing what he mentioned. However I disagree along with his being fired. If all people who mentioned anything nasty was once fired we might be overun through toddlers who can not talk but. Al Sharpton is aware of he is nontoxic considering the fact that he's a black, political determine. Regardless of his twisted justice. No I'm no longer prejudice both, I occur to be a minority.

I agree. It is time for new positive elected leaders in the black community. You cannot be a positive person for the black community if you're constantly portraying white people as racists. I know some black people that are very prejudice against hispanics, whites, asians and even africans - but you can't call them racists because they belong to a minority!?! I think that there is a lot of work that needs to be done when it comes to any form of racism in the U.S. Hippocracy amongst any group won't get us there. I would really love to know if Jesse and Al practice what they preach. Do they have white friends? Do they hire whites, hispanics, asians to work for them? I don't see them outraged over black comedians calling whites crackers, but they want to hang Imus? Strange thing ain't it?

Jackson & Sharpton do make a pair!!!!! They deserve each other in a category of all their own!!! I hope they don't think they can follow in Martin Luther King's foot steps!! Mr King was one very intelligent man, had a heart of gold & only wanted the best for all Americans, no matter their color. That man did not see color, did not stir up trouble & was not a racist in no way shape or form. Too bad we lost a good man!! He could try to teach those two what life's values are all about!!!! As for your question, I don't think there is an answer, but good point though!!!!

because he feeds off the lowers of his community, he does this so that way he can cause a stir in the communities and more people will listen to his program hence putting more money in his pocket he does not care about who he hurts he is nothing but a selfish pig and at the same time he says it id for the black community and all that crap with slavery and suppression when his family was never slaves there were live in servants who hade home qualities in there quarters and ate the same foods as there employer...sharpton is money hungry as* munch..just remember this it is ok for a black person to call a white person names, but if a white person calls a black person a name (racist or not) its wrong, also try and call his show and call him out you never get through why is that?

Everyone that agrees with your question sounds like Rush Limbuagh and/or the extreme right. I think the real problem is American society has not cultivated a more youthful intellectual leadership among this great melting pot of ours. Imus, Sharpton, Jackson etc. are representative and products of an "older" mentality. One that was forged through violence and ignorance. We don't need to get rid of anybody. We need to evolve into a more "enlightened" way of thinking. Unfortunately society has given us the "false Messiahs" (Jim Jones, David Koresh etc.) . We have a massive "brain cramp" in this country and we automatically retreat to separate camps. We must cure ourselves as a society and it can only be done one brain at a time. (Good luck, the deck is stacked against us on so many different levels)

Well, to put it simple I agree with all of you that he should be thrown off the radio however you guys are forgetting one things. As long as his show has good ratings the radio will never remove him. That is all the radio cares about is money and ratings and as long as people listen to him he will continue to rant and rave his silly non sense but there will always be people out there who want to listen to him rant and rave about blacks and every other race out there. It is not up to the white people of the world to put an end to this racist propaganda it is up to everyone whether you are black, white, oriental or any other culture if we don't work together to take him off then nothing else will work. So stop listening to the show and hopefully the radio people will take him off.

I agree, It's degrading to everyone of every race. All people like Al Sharpton ever do is drive division even farther. Rather than targeting racism as colorless (and it is), they only attack white racists. Problem is, bigotry stems from ignorance; something found in every race, religion and all corners of the earth. NOT just in "White America."

Good question he needs to lose his radio program too. Look at the race baiting he contributed to in Durham, N.C. last year with the Duke "rape" case. He does eptomize the "n" word. He reminds me of a succubus

All I can say is, he stirs the pot for ratings, and his show is completely black oriented/biased. I find it completely ironic that a REVEREND (most likely self-appointed) is unable to forgive someone after they have given an apology (Don Imus).
