I am a fairly decent student. I'm not doing so well in math class and history. That's only two classes out of eight. The rest of them, I'm doing fairly well in. If anyone knows what the grade requirements are for each class in order to skip, PLEASE let me know as soon as possible! Thanks a bunch!

Generally teachers don't want students to skip a grade unless they are doing so well that they are bored with the coursework and the teach feels that this boredom may cause the student to stop caring about learning. Generally that means that the student is getting above 98% on everything that they are turning in and are doing so without studying.

However, to challenge a class at my school (so you could skip it and move ahead), you needed to get above an 85% on the final.

If you are not making straight As and you haven't already passed GEOMETRY, you can forget about skipping to the 9th grade. Plus if you are not doing well in US History, then you will definitely struggle in World Histroy.
