I have two conputer on my network. On the server I've a ADSL connection. To share this connection, I've created a network bridge beetween ADSL connection and Local Area connection. Before bridging I was able to share my files and folders. But after bridging I can browse shared folders on non of computers. What should I do ?

Hey there.

All depends on your version of windows but for xp I would suggest that you check your file sharing permissions and that you check to see if the network has any firewall that might block file sharing on your network.

Check your network connection for package transactions/ see what your incoming and outgoing transfer rate is on your network connection.
You might want to check you ip configuration on your network and make sure that the two PC ip's are not the same.

If you are running a server then it might be using dns name server where the server gives the other pc's a ip in range.
Then your might need to nut your ip on dns.

otherwise hardware. disable your power management on the pc's as well as your network card power management property should be disabled. Make sure the network cable is seated correctly and that the cable is not damaged.

If u have set up the community, u might have already shared some folders. interior the absence of such sharing community isn't created. even if folders of documents, u choose to proportion, please ideal click on it and decide sharing from there and decide the alternative for style of sharing u intend to grant.

it could be as simple as going to advanced options and re turn on file and print sharing
