Drop Eckstein for Helton and move Swisher to the OF for Matthews. I would also drop Myers if there are any quality arms out there. Ian Snell would be a good pickup if he's there or maybe Zach Greinke. Myers lost his spot in the rotation and might not get it back unless there is an injury.

If you can get Laroche and drop Eckstein, that may work out well for you. The Pirates probably would not have traded Mike Gonzalez unless they were getting a solid player in return like Adam Laroche. The only thing is...Laroche is probably on the same level as Swisher. I like your starting pitching. Be aware that Zumaya is a great player to have in a keeper league, but Jones will probably get the majority of the saves this year and in a 10 team mixed league, you might be better off with another starter or locked in closer. Maybe use this spot to get another outfielder because you don't seem to have one on your bench and I am sure there is something available. Good luck.

You have a good team but there is always room for improvment. I mean u could use Ibanez or Dye an Swisher to get a solid OF thats putting up great numbers an a great 1B player. The possibilities are endless with this team. You pitching staff looks good though. I would only worry about my OF cuz Ibanez an Dye havent came into there stroke yet an alot of people say there is no way Dye can do what he did last year.

Your outfield is very good. Your infield is good. Your starting pitching is probably your weakest point.
I don't think that you need Laroche, keep Eckstein for now. Perhaps you could use Eckstein as trade bait for another starting pitcher.

Helton or Overbay for Eckstein will immediately inprove your team's bench, but Swisher could outperform both...There is no reason to keep Ramon Hernandez if you have Mauer. I would concentrate on replacing Polanco and Teahen...depending on who is available in your league (the likes of Alex Gordon and Akinori Iwamura are still available in some leagues...)

Myers has been awful this yr & is now in bullpen- i know its tough-but DUMP him.Good young pitchers in free agent pool i'll bet. also- laroche-maybe- but i would look for 1B w/ better Ave than swisher. Otherwise a nicely rounded team

I would say you are looking pretty good, as long as your players can stay healthy! I'm just glad I'm not in your league!

You'd be better off if you had Pudge as catcher.
