I have traveled all my life. its good to learn to adjust to new situations. You will have a better acceptance of the different lifestyles and people and it will educate you. life is too short to not see the glorious world around you.

You will need a bit more income than you have now if you want to maintain the same standard of living on the West Coast as you do now in Delaware, statistically speaking. Housing is out of control (compared to Delaware) in the Los Angeles area.

As one who has moved to a completely new state several times in my life, it is a refreshing, rewarding fresh start in life. You can leave all of your mistakes behind and make new friends and have do-overs.

If you can do it financially, I think it will be a positive experience for you.

My brother did it. He moved all the way from New York to Arizona. It only took him about 6 months or so to get used to the new surroundings, the big change in climate, find a good job, and meet new friends. I admire his accomplishment and I bet you can do the same. Good luck!
