Hi! My PC is 2.536hz, 224mb,celleron. how can i optimize its speed w/o spending. it seems there should be some speed matching to be done with the RAM, cpu, and etc's.

try overclocking.. :)

Yea if you don't know what you are doing don't overclock the CPU it will void the warranty. There are however a few things you can do. First thing is run msconfig and go to the startup tab and uncheck anything that you don't need to running at start up. Second right-click om my computer select the advanced tab then press the performance button the select the radio button that has adjust for best performance. The last thing you can do is right-click on the desktop select properties then settings then select a lower color quality.

no dont overclock if you dont know what your doing. Defrag your hard drive after you delete all unwanted stuff. download system mechanic and run total care itll do everything in the book to speed your machine up.
