It is supposed to be 5, then the new season will contain all new characters and a new storyline.

Heroes will return Monday, April 23rd so we just have one more re-run until the new show comes on! It'll be titled ".07%" and will be followed by 4 more shows titled "Five years gone," "The Hard Part," "Landslide" and the Finale "How to stop an exploding man."
